Here is a fun restaurant to go to in the Chicago area. It is the Chicago Brauhaus. This is a 100% pure German restaurant that serves traditional German specialities, beer and wine, and has music and dancing six days a week. It is always Oktoberfest here. The food is good if you like German food. The beers are huge. You can order a pint sized beer or even a teeny tiny beer. There is traditional german musicans playing and you can get up and dance the polka while you are waiting for your food or after a couple of drinks. We went here twice with a group of friends during our first two years of marriage. My husband and I also took my parents here once, since my family is German. The Chicago Brauhaus is located in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Square.
