Wisconsin Dells Deer Park
If you are visiting the Wisconsin Dells with children, then the Wisconsin Dells Deer Park is a great place to visit. This deer park has been in business for over 50 years and is one of the original attractions in the Wisconsin Dells. It is a family petting zoo that is 40 acres of paved and groomed wooded trails, where you can view many types of animals and pet many varieties of deer. There are lots of deer throughout the park wandering around that you can pet and feed. Upon entering the park through the gift shop, you can purchase special crackers that you can feed the deer. Besides deer, there are many other animals to view, such as goats, birds, llamas, horses, emus, lemurs, elk, bison, and pigs. The deer park is open from the first week in May to the last week in October. Among the hustle and bustle of the Wisconsin Dells, this is a nice peaceful and calm activitiy that you can do with your family or children. It's a great place to be hands on with the deer, which are well known in Wisconsin, and to get some great photos of the kids.
